An American Thanksgiving . . . As Apposed To An English One.

Hello again, sorry for the lack of blog posts recently but to be honest . . . nothing has happened. It's been a boring few weeks and have mostly been spent opening the calendar app on my mac to count how many days I must remain here. No mum, calm down I don't hate it here, I'm fine. I am just extremely anxious to get home to London and see friends and family.

Speaking of which I spent this weekend with my extended relatives of whom live in the greater Tampa area. My great uncle, auntie and two cousins. I went for a traditional Thanksgiving and got a chance to catch up with all of my American relatives who traveled there this week from all over the country. It was a tremendous feast, complimented by great company and better weather. Since I've moved half way across the world its brilliant to have family so close, makes those times when I'm missing home that bit easier.

I have been living here for over four months now and It feels like I've been here forever. I'm even slightly nervous for my return as I haven't seen everyone in so long. But I'm sure once I land and that gust of cold London air hits my Florida tanned skin I'll feel right at home.

I would like to take a paragraph to express my love for American greed & gluttony. I mean, I've found so many types of Oreos they don't fit in one picture, And flavors of Skittles that don't exist yet. I shall be buying a extra suitcase just for the candy I shall be bringing home. Sorry not candy, "Sweets."

So not long now, 20 days or so. The next three weeks will be the toughest school wise, as they build up to my final exams. To explain to my English folk, They teach you a bunch of crap, you have a mid-term, then they teach you more crap, then you have a final. So now I gotta remember the stuff from the mid-term because thats gonna be on the final.

I should be fine though, my grades so far are the best I've had in school, so if I just put the work in for these last few weeks it will be a good Christmas break. I shall be going Christmas shopping this week too which should be "Fun As Hell" as some stupid Americans say, I mean . . . how can hell be fun? Anyway, I will leave you for another week. The following picture is to let you English know that I will be going through some cold weather this week too! 24? Unacceptable!

Thanks for reading,

Ty.
