Its the eve of my college career and I'm feeling surprisingly calm about the prospect of moving into a room with complete strangers.
Being from England, the only way I kind of understood what happens in college was from watching AC Slater move into his dorm on saved by the bell the college years.
And judging by that it looks pretty cool. The weird thing is not only am I looking forward to training with my new team and being part of a championship winning side, but I'm extremley anxious to start learning again.
Its been a couple of years so maybe I've just forgotten the pain and stress that school brings, but as for right now, I can't wait to start.
Yesterday I took a trip to Wal-Mart (The worlds greatest store) and managed to get my hands on all of my college supplies in about an hour for 300 bucks. I'm talking from notebooks to lamps, bedsheets to printers, and old spice to pre-paid cell phones. I was tempted to get my blood pressure taken too.
By this time tomorrow I should have settled into my room, and be getting ready to meet all of my new team mates and also be preparing myself for aerobic and anaerobic fitness in this heat. Just to give you a idea its over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
So here's hoping I have more of a Zack Morris Time, rather Than A Screech 4 years.
