It's Feeling Like The Second Chance And Its The First Impression

I am currently half way through my first week as a academical college student, and Ive been feeling that back to school feeling that I have been missing for the past couple of years. All of my professors seem pleasant and I look forward to working with them.

I have also met a lot of my fellow students, my favorite part of this experience being when we have to introduce ourselves I would stand up and say in a soft british accent "Hello class, my name is Tyler and I am from Tampa" and then proceed to glare at their puzzled faces as I slowly descend into my seat. But all of these classes and syllabi have got me thinking about my past learning experiences.

In my past educational career, I seem to have suffered the same problem again and again. While I was in school i didn't pay much attention to the academical side, and then once I left I would say to my self "Damn, if only I put that extra bit of work in" and i know what your thinking, your thinking "Does he really say 'Damn' and then pause in his own head?" and the answer to your question is yes.
Just Another Humid Training Session

Ive always been the sporty guy whether it was soccer in primary school, or chasing girls in high school and I've neglected the learning process, and sure sometimes I occupy nostalgic emotions of younger days but I believe I have matured in a way that has helped me realize that studying, learning and developing my mind is one of the best things anyone can do.

Sure, its tough, you want to party and hang out with your friends, but I am convinced that its down to simple time management. Im not saying I'm not ever going to party, but its just when to do it. I mean I'm hear to learn, not only what I am taught in class, but about different cultures and beliefs, and if I want to get wasted on a monday night I could just move back to England and go down the dog and duck for a couple of cheap pints on quiz night.

Although fortunately I have a brighter more fulfilling future planned out and it starts with a successful college career and I feel here at The University Of Tampa I can achieve just that.

Thanks For Reading

Ty
